About 4 Takes and Fuel Podcast
From down south in Cajun country, Alex, Ethan, Chance, Colton, and Austin grew up racing at their local track Acadiana Speedway. In 2022, while at a Saturday night show, they were all in Alex and Austin’s trailer and tossed around the idea to start a podcast. From the name being a spinoff of Larry Mac’s infamous “4 tires and fuel” saying on the NASCAR on FOX broadcasts, to creating their first logo, and looking at buying equipment, the guys were underway! When the equipment came in, they found their first “studio” being a black fold out table in Ethan’s office, where they clicked record on the very first episode! After the 2022 season ended, the guys were stumped at how they were going to keep producing episodes and creating content. So they figured why not start doing guest interviews with past and present racers and personalities of the sport! The response was beyond what they imagined.
